I forgot my ThinkPortal password, how can I reset it?
How can I update my details?
If you wish to update your address, phone number or any other personal details, please send an email from your registered email address to support@thinkmarkets.com.
If you wish to update your address specifically, please include a proof of address document in the email.
Our client support team will contact you as soon as possible.
How can I change my account type?
- Use your registered email address to send your request to support@thinkmarkets.com, stating your trading account number and your wish to convert your account.
- Please ensure there are no open positions on your selected account when making your request.
- Our client support team will notify you via email once your account has been successfully converted.
Can I change my leverage?
Can I change my account platform or account type?
Once your account is created you can not change the platform that you open your account with.
You can however change the account type. With MT4 or MT5 platforms you can change between Standard and ThinkZero account types.
The ThinkTrader platform is only one account type. If you want to create another account choose Trading Accounts > Create Live Account.
Can I use the same account on multiple platforms?
No, account types and platforms are not interchangeable.
Each platform requires a specific account. For example you can not use an MT4 account on the MT5 platform. You must use an MT4 account with MT4 platform and an MT5 account with the MT5 platform.
The ThinkTrader platform has it's own account type and can not be used on MT4 or MT5. Conversely, you can not use MT4 or MT5 accounts with the ThinkTrader platform. If you want to create another account choose Trading Accounts > Create Live Account.
